Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public of a temporary disruption of routine laboratory services (blood collection) at the A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre in Buchans due to human resources challenges from:

Friday, July 26 at 4:00 p.m. until Thursday, August 1 at 8:00 a.m.

Urgent and emergency laboratory services remain unaffected at this time.

During this time, patients may choose to travel to Grand Falls-Windsor for laboratory services (blood collection). This temporary disruption will not affect the services provided by the emergency and medical imaging departments.

If you are in need of emergency services, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room.
