Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services is advising the public that we are currently experiencing intermittent issues with telephone services at the following sites until further notice: Makkovik Community Clinic and Postville Community Clinic  

In case of emergency: Patients with a medical emergency, who are unable to reach either of these clinics, should proceed to the clinic. If you are unsure if you should proceed to a clinic, please call the 811 HealthLine. 

Other information:  

• 811 HealthLine is available 24/7 to provide: medical advice (including virtual nurse practitioner appointments which can usually be accommodated within three days);  
• health information; and   
• support in a mental health crisis.
