Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services advises the public of a temporary disruption of routine laboratory services (blood collection) and medical imaging services currently in place at Fogo Island Health Centre on Fogo Island due to human resource challenges until:

• Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.

The emergency department is open, however if it is determined you require emergency laboratory and medical imaging services, you may be redirected to another facility.

During this time, patients may choose to travel to Gander or Grand Falls-Windsor for laboratory services (blood collection) or medical imaging services.
